Martha’s Vineyard Furniture Company is proud to be a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council (SFC). The SFC is the #1 organization in green furnishings; a non-profit balanced coalition of suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and designers formed to promote sustainable practices.
SFC members are required to:
1. A commitment to sustainability
2. Transparency about how you are living that commitment
3. A commitment to continuous improvement.
As members of the SFC we support the “triple bottom line” of PEOPLE - PLANET - PROFITS. We accomplish this goal by increasing our purchases from suppliers that show continual improvement toward meeting the SFC’s high standards.
