updating our 'aquinnah' series in many shades of green™

In the coming weeks we will be updating the 'Aquinnah' series in our many shades of green™ line (only a few 'Aquinnah' pieces are still available so please call 888.305.7891 to order). This beautiful spot up island is not only the inspiration for several pieces of our furniture, it's part of the color inspiration behind our 'Aquinnah Clay' fabric and paint colors.

The Aquinnah cliffs are composed of over one hundred feet of sediment, created by six different glaciers. The result is a beautiful array of red, orange and white clays. Over the years the clay has been used to make pottery, paint and even the bricks used to build the original Aquinnah Light in the late 1700's. Today the cliffs are a National Historic Landmark and removing the clay is prohibited by law.
